Concept explanation: How MineSafe is going to contribute to solve the landmine impact in the Colombian population?

The Colombian government and the main guerrilla group Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) are closest than ever in recent history to achieving a peace agreement. Nevertheless, the hardest battle will be waiting for Colombians after the signature of it. The main goal of this research is to contribute to the improvement of methods of detection and destruction of landmines in Colombia. Allowing both, deminers and civilians to avoid damages from APM casualties, giving them a safe journey home, so they can experience what many take for granted: “the magic of walking around home”.
